Low-Cost Vaccination and Microchip Clinic

Vaccination Clinic

To help keep our patrons, volunteers, and staff safe as COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Adams County, we’ve elected to cancel our upcoming contactless vaccination clinics. We hope to resume our clinics soon and will make an announcement on our website and Facebook page.

What to Expect When Our Contactless Vaccination Clinics Resume:

  • Our contactless vaccination clinics will be held at the new Riverdale Animal Shelter in the parking lot immediately across from our Community Room (on the south end of the shelter).

  • Vaccination clinics are contactless and by appointment only.

  • For your safety and the safety of our staff and volunteers, please remain in your vehicle for the entirety of your appointment and wear a mask when speaking with the vaccination clinic team.

  • The vaccination clinic team will retrieve your pet from your vehicle. Please ensure your pet is properly restrained with a well-fitted leash or harness, or in a carrier.

  • A current vaccination record for your pet(s) isn’t required, but is helpful to ensuring they receive the correct vaccinations. Please bring your most current records – especially for puppies and kittens

  • Immediately after your pet receives vaccinations, you will receive a phone number to call our Customer Care team your credit card payment information.

  • Once payment has been received you will receive your pet’s updated vaccination records.

  • An ill pet can sicken other animals. Please care for your sick pets at home. We’re happy to provide vaccinations when they’re healthy and feeling better.

  • Vaccinations take a few days to a few weeks to become effective. Keeping pets from interacting with other animals will help safeguard them in the meantime.

Vaccinations Offered:

We offer the following vaccinations (prices effective Feb. 1, 2020):

  • Rabies (one year vaccination) - $15
  • Distemper/Panleukopenia (FVRCP) $15

  • Rabies (one year vaccination) - $15
  • Distemper/Parvo - $15
  • Bordetella - $15

Microchipping your pet is one of the simplest ways to bring your pet home to you. If your pet is to become lost and found by someone else, your city’s Animal Control Department, local shelter, or veterinary clinic can scan the chip to help find you, their owner. The chip is about the size of a grain of rice and contains your contact information, which should be updated anytime you and your pet move to a new home or location.

  • Microchip - $25
